What's new about this kit...the Schurtzen? Anything else? I may sound cynical but but schurtzen (and in better scale thickness) is available from Eduard (and maybe others)..."Hmmm...Oh boy! A new tool Pz lV with Schurtzen...but I'll have to throw out the kit Schurtzen and replace with PE."

You know...a set of rubber rimmed return rollers might be a nice product for Red Zebra to develop.

I'm sad that this news makes so many so unhappy. In my world this is GREAT news! I will probably buy at least 2 (just for the hell of it). It was only a few short years ago that my only choice was to pull out a Bandai kit from the collection to build. Now I have a pile of Tamiya kits to choose from that I enjoy building much more that my Bandai. Don't get me wrong, I currently have a Bandai Panzer IV and a Tamiya Panzer IV on the bench as we speak about 2/3 built (I am having fun with both). I do not have the time, patience or skills to scratch build like some of the guys on here and Track48. I am also too lazy to do enough research to know that what I am building is not exactly like the real thing. But I enjoy building them and it keeps me from loosing my mind. In case anyone from Tamiya reads these forums, keep up the good work. Your company is far from perfect, but either am I. Sorry guys, I will go back to creeping in the shadows for another decade. PS: I enjoy reading both here and Track48 and have learned a lot from the content these forums.

I'm happy for every new 48th Armour kit that is released. German stuff is not my cup of tea but this means we must be one step closer to Tamiya doing some modern 48th scale armour.
