sculpted base and camel, never got around to finishing the camel though...... maybe one day.... Ive left my scalpel in the photo for scale :-)

Thanks, its the smallest camel Ive ever sculpted........... to date, Ive done camels in, 120mm, 90mm, 54mm, 35th scale and 48th scale (in photos below).......first attempt at a 72nd scale camel..... bit of a recurring theme here :-) 4 years in Dubai gave me plenty reference material :-)

nice paulie yeah... the camel is cool but honestly im very impressed with the base i like the way the waves in the sand came out and the dune you sculpted that too?

Thanks Kyle, yes I sculpted the base also, (lived in the UAE for years, and spent a lot of time in the desert in 4x4s) Do you think a base like that in 48th scale may be of interest if cast up?

hi paulie... hmmm... depends on the cost its super realistic and would love to have that wavy/dune effect for a desert base i make my bases from pink insulation foam and doubt i could ever recreate that effect so perhaps i would buy one but it probably cost a lot to ship ill have to look thru yer site and see if i could use some other stuff to make it a worthwhile purchase if you know what i mean but others may be interested if you made it as well it perfect for any desert vehicle or even just some figs meandering about the sands the possibilities are as endless as the desert
