Have seen photos of the fully built and weathered models, that will feature in the Airfix magazine, both very impressive, looking forward to these. Hope to have accessory sets within a few weeks of their release :-)

So these 2 vehicle kits are directed at aircraft modelers? I've been to several IPMS competitions, and there are always hundreds of aircraft entries, but very, VERY few aircraft dioramas. Maybe Airfix would be better releasing ground forces vehicles. A 25lb'er with Quad in 1/48 would be awesome!! (Along with crew)

Hi the bedfoed was used by both the RAF and army, in various set ups, ranging from a straight truck, water bowser, aa gun, as a small gun portee. The albian, I believe was also used in various roles. Its still nice to see another 48th scale vehicle , im lucky enough to have a sample, and the Bedford is a lovely little kit, with engine under the bonnet, steerable wheels, and choice of rear covers etc

The last time I bought any Airfix was 1/72 armour, in the sixties. I hope their newer stuff is as good as, or, preferably, better than Tamiya.

Their modern armour range was only let down by the tyres........ which were toy like..........however this left a gap in the market for us resin casting chaps, so Im not complaining :-) the Bedford is GOOD, Im lucky enough to have a pre production sample to make stowage :-) The kit wont be released for about another month, already have an accessory set nearly ready to go :-)
